- 3 eggs
- 3/4 c. sugar
- dash of salt
- 1 c. dark corn syrup
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. broken pecans
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
Directions

1In mixing bowl, beat eggs thoroughly.

2Stir in sugar and salt until dissolved.

3Stir in corn syrup, butter and vanilla; mix well.

4Stir in pecans.

5Pour mixture into an unbaked pie shell. Bake in a 400° oven for 10 minutes.

6Reduce oven temperature to 325° and bake about 1 hour more or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.

7Cool on a wire rack.
