- 1 yellow cake mix
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. melted butter
- 1 1/2 c. butter
- 3 eggs
- 1 to 2 c. chopped pecans
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. dark brown sugar
Directions

1Mix well cake mix, 1 egg and 1/2 cup melted butter.

2Reserve 2/3 cup of mixture.

3Spread remaining mixture into 9 x 13-inch pan and bake for 15 minutes at 325°.

4Pour 1 1/2 cups butter, 3 eggs, chopped pecans, vanilla and dark brown sugar on top of crust and bake about 1 hour at 325°.
