Ingredients

  • 1 yellow cake mix
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c. oleo
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 3/4 c. dark syrup
  • 3/4 c. light syrup
  • 3 beaten eggs
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. pecans
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions

    Combine first 4 ingredients except 2/3 cup cake mix. Pour into 9x13 greased pan, bake at 350° 20-25 min.

    While this cooks mix 2/3 c. cake mix with the syrups, beaten eggs and brown sugar, mix for 3 min. add vanilla, stir in pecans; pour onto hot cooked cake and return to oven for 40 min. or till filling is set.
