  • 12 eggs, beaten
  • 1 c. dark brown sugar
  • 5 c. sugar
  • 2 c. dark corn syrup
  • 1 1/3 c. honey
  • 1 c. butter or margarine, melted
  • 3 Tbsp. vanilla extract
  • 12 to 16 c. chopped pecans
  • 8 unbaked pie shells (9-inch each)

    In large mixing bowl, combine first seven ingredients; mix well.

    Add the pecans.

    Pour 2 1/4 cups filling into each pie shell.

    Bake at 300° for 40 to 50 minutes.
