Pecan Pie (Marie'S)

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c. light corn syrup
  • 3 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 (8 3/4-inch diameter x 1 3/4-inch) EZ foil scalloped pie pan (if not used, it may boil over)
  • 2/3 c. sugar
  • 1/3 c. melted butter or margarine
  • 1 (9-inch) unbaked pastry shell (homemade or bought)

Directions

    Beat eggs thoroughly with sugar, dash of salt, corn syrup and melted butter.

    Add pecans; pour into unbaked pastry shell.

    Place pecan halves on top to decorate.

    Bake in moderate oven (350°) for 50 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between outside and center of filling comes out clean.

    Cool, slice and enjoy.
