  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. Karo syrup
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. oleomargarine, melted
  • 1 c. chopped pecans

Directions

    Beat eggs; add sugar, syrup, salt, vanilla and margarine. Line a 9-inch pie plate with pastry.

    Pour mixture over pastry. Bake at 325° for 45 minutes.

    The nuts will rise to the top and form a crusted layer.
