- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. white corn syrup
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- 3 eggs
- 1 c. pecans, whole or chopped
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie crust
Directions

1Mix sugar, syrup, butter and vinegar.

2Bring to a boil for 1 minute.

3Cool slightly.

4Stir eggs (beat), then stir into mixture. (Be sure mixture has cooled enough so eggs will not cook.)

5Add nuts and nutmeg.

6Pour into unbaked pastry shell.

7Bake at 350° for 10 minutes.

8Lower temperature to 300° and bake 30 minutes more.
