- 1 (9-inch) pie shell
- 4 eggs
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. dark corn syrup
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. pecan halves
Directions

1Beat eggs slightly in medium size bowl.

2Stir in sugar, flour, salt, corn syrup and vanilla.

3Pour into prepared shell.

4Arrange pecan halves in pattern on top or chop pecans coarsely and sprinkle into shell before adding filling.

5Bake in preheated moderate 350° oven for 45 minutes or until center is almost set. (Do not overbake, for filling will set as it cools.)

6Cool on a wire rack.
