Ingredients

  • 11/2 cups sugar
  • 2/3 tsp salt
  • 11/3 cup dark Karo
  • 11/2 stick butter
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 22/3 cup chopped pecans
  • 4 eggs beatn til frothy

Directions

    Combine sugar, salt and Karo and simmer until sugar dissolves. Stir in butter, vanilla and pecans. Combine with eggs.

    Pour into 2 (8 or 9 inch) pie pans

    Place on cookie sheet and bake at 325 for 40-50 minutes.
