  • 3 c. Flour
  • 1/4 c. + 2 Tbsp. Sugar
  • 3/4 c. Margarine, softened
  • 3/4 tsp. Salt
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. Sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. Karo syrup
  • 3 Tbsp. Margarine, melted
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Vanilla
  • 2 1/2 c. Chopped pecans

Directions

  1. 1
    Beat together the first 4 ingredients until crumbly. Press into a greased 15 1/2 x 12 1/2 x 1/2 jelly roll pan, bake at 350°f. 180°c. gas mark 4 for 20 minutes. Beat together the eggs, sugar, karo syrup, melted margarine and vanilla, add pecans, pour over the crust and bake for a further 25 minutes or until set.
