  • 1 c. Karo syrup (green label)
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 c. pecans, chopped finely

Directions

    Mix ingredients together.

    Adding pecans last, pour into pastry shell.

    Bake in hot oven at 400° for 15 minutes and reduce heat to 350° and bake 30 minutes longer or until a knife inserted in center of filling comes out clean.
