- 2 cups butter or margarine, softened
- 1 cup confectioners sugar
- 2 tablespoons
- 4 teaspoons vanilla
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups chopped pecans
- additional confectioners sugar
Directions

1In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar.

2Add water and vanilla; mix well.

3Gradually add flour; fold in pecans.

4Roll dough into 1 inch balls.

5Place on ungreased cookie sheets and flatten with fingers.

6Bake at 300° for 20-25 minutes.

7Cool on a wire rack.

8When cool, dust with confectioners sugar.

9Yield: about 5 dozen.
