  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine
  • 1/4 c. sifted confectioners sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 tsp. cold water
  • 1 c. sifted flour
  • 1 c. chopped pecans

Directions

    Cream butter well; add sugar and cream until light and fluffy. Stir in flour, water and vanilla.

    Add nuts and mix well.

    Form into 1/4 inch slices and bake in preheated 325° oven for 20 minutes.

    While cookies are still warm, roll in sifted confectioners sugar.
