  • 34 cup dried apricot
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cups flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 34 teaspoon salt
  • 14 teaspoon baking soda
  • 12 cup orange juice
  • 14 cup cold water

    Soak apricots 1/2 hour; drain and cut up.

    Cream butter, sugar and egg; add dry ingredients alternately with liquid .
