  • 2 cups whole grain cereal flakes with pecans
  • 1-1/2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup PLANTERS Pecan Pieces
  • 1 Tbsp. CALUMET Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg

    Preheat oven to 350F.

    Mix cereal, milk and butter in medium bowl; let stand 5 minutes.

    Add egg and sugar; mix well.

    Stir in flour, pecans, baking powder and nutmeg just until blended.

    Spread into 8x4-inch loaf pan sprayed with cooking spray.

    Bake 55 minutes to 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

    Cool 10 minutes in pan on wire rack; remove from pan.

    Cool completely.
