- 1 1/2 lb. white sandwich bread
- 3/4 c. salad oil
- 3/4 c. smooth peanut butter
Directions

1Trim crusts from bread. Cut each slice into 5 finger-sized strips.

2Lightly toast crusts and strips on a cookie sheet for 1 hour at 200°.

3Pulverize crust in blender (corn flakes may be added for volume).

4In blender combine oil and peanut butter. Dip strips in mixture and roll in crumbs.

5Place on cookie sheet and bake 45 minutes at 200°.

6These freeze well.

7Yields a baker's cord of logs.
