- 2 c. self-rising flour
- 2 heaping Tbsp. shortening
- 2/3 c. milk
Directions

1Mix flour and shortening by cutting shortening into flour.

2Do this by using two table knives and moving them back and forth until mixture is crumbly.

3Add milk; mix well.

4Roll onto floured surface.

5Cut with biscuit cutter.

6Place into greased pan.

7Bake at 450° until the biscuits rise and turn brown, about 10 minutes.
