- 6 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/4 inch slices
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. chili powder
- 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 1/2 cups shredded pepper Jack or Monterey Jack cheese, divided
Directions

1In a large bowl, combine the potatoes and onions.

2Combine the butter and seasoning; drizzle over the potatoes and onions. Toss to coat.

3Place half in a greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish.
