Pepper Jelly

Ingredients

  • 1 c. bell pepper, chopped very fine in blender
  • 1/4 c. hot red pepper, chopped
  • 6 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 (6 oz.) bottle Certo
  • 3 or 4 drops green food coloring
  • 1 1/2 c. apple cider vinegar

Directions

    Mix both kinds of peppers.

    Add vinegar and sugar.

    Bring to a rolling boil and boil 7 minutes.

    Remove from heat and cool 5 minutes.

    Add Certo and coloring; mix thoroughly.

    Pour in jars and seal.

    Skim off foam with a spoon just before pouring in jars. (You can use vinegar.)
