- 2 c. red pepper, ground or chopped
- 2 c. green pepper, ground or chopped
- 2 c. onion, ground or chopped
- 2 c. vinegar
- 2 1/2 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. salt
- 3 c. sugar
Directions

1Cover ground peppers with boiling water and simmer for 10 minutes.

2Drain.

3In a saucepan, combine ground onions, vinegar, water, salt and sugar.

4Heat until spices dissolve.

5In a heavy pot,

6pour over peppers and heat until boiling.

7Continue to boil for 15 minutes.

8Put into hot canning jars and seal.

9Makes about 7 pints.
