- 12 green peppers
- 12 red peppers
- 8 carrots
- 5 onions
- 1 cabbage
- 1 c. salt
- 6 c. sugar
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 qt. vinegar
- 1 tsp. mustard seed
- 1 tsp. celery seed
Directions

1Grind all vegetables together. Mix with 1 cup salt and let stand for 1 hour. Strain out as much juice as possible. Mix remaining ingredients.

2Do not cook. Just mix with vegetables; put in jars and seal. Mine made 9 pints.
