- 12 sweet red peppers
- 12 sweet green peppers
- 12 large/15 medium onions
- 2 oz. mustard seed
- 3 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. salt
- 1 qt. vinegar
- celery seed (if desired)
Directions

1Wash peppers and onions; remove pepper seeds.

2Put through food chopper or grinder.

3Cover with boiling water and let stand 10 minutes.

4Drain well and put in large kettle.

5Add remaining ingredients.

6Cook until onions are transparent, about 30 to 40 minutes.

7Pour into sterilized jars and seal.
