- 1 lb. round steak
- 1 Tbsp. dry sherry
- 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 4 slices peeled ginger root (1 x 1/8-inch)
- 1/4 c. vegetable oil
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. cornstarch
- 2 medium green peppers
Directions

1Prepare ahead:

2Cut steak in thin strips and marinate in the wine, soy sauce, sugar and cornstarch mixture.

3Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in hot skillet (30 seconds).

4Stir-fry peppers for 3 minutes; scoop out.

5Heat 3 tablespoons of oil.

6Add ginger and stir-fry for 2 minutes, then remove.

7Stir-fry meat for 2 to 3 minutes.

8Add peppers and cook for 4 to 5 minutes, stirring.

9Serve over rice.
