- 1 1/2 lb. top beef round or sirloin steak (3/4 to 1-inch thick)
- 1/4 c. salad oil
- 1 c. water
- 1 medium onion, cut into 1/4-inch slices
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/4 tsp. ginger
- 2 medium green peppers, cut into 3/4-inch strips
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 to 3 tsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 2 medium tomatoes
- hot cooked rice
Directions

1Place 4 pounds of country style ribs in large pan.

2Add enough water to cover; heat to boiling.

3Reduce heat; cook 1 hour. Remove ribs; drain.

4Place, bone side down, in grill 3 inches from medium coals.

5Cook about 30 minutes, turning frequently.

6Prepare Orange Sauce.

7Spoon sauce on ribs; cook for 5 minutes.

8Turn; spoon sauce on ribs and cook 5 minutes longer, or until ribs are done.

9Makes 4 servings.
