- round steak, cut in strips
- garlic salt
- 2 medium onions, sliced
- 2 green peppers, sliced
- 1 can tomatoes with juice
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 pkg. mushroom beef gravy soup or 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 pkg. onion soup
- 1 can mushrooms (optional)
Directions

1Cut beef into 3 x 1-inch strips; brown in oil in skillet. Transfer to a slow cooker.

2Combine the next 7 ingredients; pour over beef.

3Cover; cook on low for 5 to 6 hours, or until meat is tender.

4Add tomatoes and green peppers; cook on low 1 hour longer.

5Combine the cold water and cornstarch to make a paste; stir into liquid in slow cooker and cook on high until thickened. Serve over noodles or rice.

6Yields 6 to 8 servings.
