Ingredients
- 2 lb. round steak
- 1/2 c. onion, chopped
- 1 green pepper, cut in thin strips
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 cans consomme concentrate
- 1 c. celery, cut small
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 c. water
- 2 c. butter or oleo
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 4 tsp. soy sauce
Directions

1Cut steak in thin strips.

2Heat butter in skillet.

3Add meat and brown well, then add onion, garlic, green peppers, celery, salt, pepper and consomme.

4Cover and cook gently for about 1 hour. Blend cornstarch with water and soy sauce.

5Stir into meat mixture and cook uncovered 15 minutes.

6Serve over rice.
