- 1 lb. pepper steak strips
- 2 Tbsp. peanut oil
- 2 large green peppers, cut into thin strips
- 2 scallions, thinly sliced
- 1 small onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 c. thinly sliced celery
- 1/2 c. molasses
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 1/2 tsp. ginger
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Blend together last five ingredients.

2Heat wok.

3Add peanut oil and brown beef.

4Add pepper, scallions, onions and celery. Cook 3 to 5 minutes, stir-frying.

5Stir in molasses mixture. Blend together 1/2 cup water and 2 tablespoons cornstarch and quickly stir in.

6Cover and simmer for 5 to 8 minutes.

7Serve with rice.
