- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 to 1 1/2 lb. boneless sirloin steak strips
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 2 medium green peppers, cut in strips
- 2 medium onions, cut into wedges
- 1 c. fresh cut mushrooms
- 2 medium tomatoes, cut in wedges
- 1 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 can beef consomme
Directions

1In cup, stir cornstarch and 1/2 cup water; set aside.

2Mix sauces with steak.

3In skillet, put in 1 tablespoon hot oil. Stir-fry beef in 2 batches until browned.

4Remove.

5In addition, 2 tablespoons hot oil, stir-fry peppers, onions, mushrooms and tomatoes with ginger, garlic powder and soy sauce until tender and crisp.

6Add consomme and cornstarch mixture.

7Cook until mixture boils and thickens.

8Stir constantly.

9Return beef to skillet. Heat thoroughly.

10Serve over rice.
