Ingredients
- 1 c. green pepper chunks
- 1 c. celery chunks
- 1/2 c. onion chunks
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 large round steak
- 1 1/3 c. water
- 4 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 4 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 4 tsp. sugar
- 2 large or 4 small fresh tomatoes, wedged
Directions

1Cook peppers, celery and onions in oil until almost tender. Set aside.

2Run steak through tenderizer and cut in thin strips (cuts easier if partly frozen).

3Brown strips where vegetables were browned.

4Add water, flour, salt, soy sauce, sugar and tomatoes.

5Simmer at least one hour.

6Add vegetable combination and simmer at least another 30 minutes or until steak is very tender.

7Serve over rice with 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger added to each cup of rice.
