- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 medium green pepper
- about 10 large mushrooms
- 1 medium onion
- 1 medium carrot
- 1 lb. frying steak
- 1 jar brown gravy
- salt and pepper
- 4 c. cooked rice
Directions

1Slice the vegetables and steak into thin strips.

2Heat oil in large frying pan.

3Saute vegetables until onion is transparent. Remove from pan and set them aside.

4Reheat pan.

5Over medium flame, brown steak, stirring often.

6Add gravy and vegetables (including any juices that settled).

7Salt and pepper to taste. Cover, reduce heat and simmer at least 30 minutes, no more than 1 hour.

8Stir occasionally.

9Serve over rice.
