  • 1 lb. pepper steak meat
  • 1/4 c. soy sauce
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 1/2 tsp. fresh ginger
  • 1/4 c. oil
  • 1 onion
  • 2 large peppers, cut up (1 green and 1 red)
  • 2 stalks celery, thinly sliced
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 c. water

    Combine soy sauce, garlic and ginger.

    Add beef; toss and set aside.

    While preparing veggies, heat oil in a large frying pan. Add beef; cook until brown.

    Cover and simmer for 20 minutes over low heat.

    Turn heat up.

    Add vegetables.

    Toss until vegetables are tender, 10 minutes.

    Mix cornstarch with water; add to pan. Stir and cook until thickened.
