- 1 lb. boneless beef chuck, sliced thinly
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 1/4 c. water
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 c. onion, chopped
- 1/2 c. celery, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. flour, browned
- 1 c. cooked rice
- 2 medium tomatoes, peeled and sliced
Directions

1Broil meat until done.

2Place in saucepan.

3Season with garlic, salt and soy sauce.

4Add 1/4 cup water; cover and simmer 45 minutes.

5Add pepper, onion and celery; cook 10 minutes.

6Mix flour with 1 cup water.

7Add to saucepan, stirring constantly, until thickened.

8Add tomatoes and heat for 5 minutes.

9Serve over rice.
