- 1 lb. flank steak partially frozen, cut diagonally into thin strips
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 3 c. plus 1 Tbsp. water
- 1 Tbsp. beef bouillon cubes
- 1/4 c. cornstarch
- 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 c. sliced celery
- 1 large green pepper, cut into strips
- hot cooked rice or noodles
Directions

1In large skillet, cook meat in oil over medium heat until browned and liquid is absorbed.

2Add 3 cups water and bouillon. Stir together cornstarch, soy sauce and remaining water.

3Add to skillet and cook, stirring constantly until thickened and clear. Add celery, cook over medium 5 to 8 minutes.

4Add green peppers; cook 5 minutes longer.

5Serve over hot rice or noodles with additional soy sauce if desired.
