- 1 lb. beef chuck, cut in very thin strips
- 1/4 c. salad oil
- 1 clove minced garlic
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. water
- 1 green pepper, cut in 1 inch pieces
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 c. water
- 2 tomatoes, cut in eighths
Directions

1Brown beef in hot oil; add garlic and cook until yellow.

2Add soy sauce, salt and 1/4 cup water; cook 45 minutes.

3Add vegetables; cook 10 minutes.

4Stir in cornstarch blended with 1 cup water.

5Add tomatoes and cook 5 minutes.

6Serve over hot fluffy rice.
