- 1 lb. beef, cut into thin strips
- 1/4 c. salad oil
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. water
- 1 c. green peppers, cut in 1-inch pieces
- 1 c. chopped onions
- 1/3 c. chopped celery
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 c. water
- 2 tomatoes, cut in eighths
Directions

1Brown beef in oil.

2Add garlic and cook until yellow. Add soy sauce, salt, 1/4 cup water and cook for 45 minutes.

3Add vegetables. Cook 10 minutes. Stir in cornstarch blend with 1 cup water. Add tomatoes and cook 5 minutes. Serve over rice.
