- 1 1/2 lb. beef top round steak
- 3 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. au jus dried gravy mix
- 1 medium onion, cut into 1/2-inch slices
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. ground ginger
- 2 medium peppers, cut into 3/4-inch strips
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
Directions

1Trim fat from beef and cut into thin strips.

2Heat oil in large skillet.

3Add beef and stir-fry for about 5 minutes.

4Add onions and bell peppers and cook 3 to 5 minutes.

5Add water, gravy mix, salt and ginger.

6Cover and simmer 10 to 15 minutes.

7Blend cornstarch and soy sauce; stir into beef mixture.

8Cook, stirring constantly until mixture thickens.

9Cook 1 minute.

10Serve over rice.
