- 1 to 1 1/2 lb. sirloin steak, cut in thin strips
- 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 3 to 4 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 2 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 c. sliced onions
- 1 large green pepper, chopped
- 1 c. rice or mashed potatoes
Directions

1Place oil and soy sauce in large skillet; brown steak.

2Add 1 cup water and place lid on skillet.

3Simmer for about 30 minutes. Stir cornstarch in 1 cup of water, mixing well.

4Add to skillet; bring to boil.

5Reduce heat; stir in onions and green pepper. Cook until crisp.

6Serve over rice or mashed potatoes.
