- 1 (15 oz.) can beef gravy
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. shortening
- 1 c. sliced onion
- 1 medium green pepper, cut in strips
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
Directions

1Mix thoroughly 1/4 cup gravy, ground beef, bread crumbs, egg and salt. Shape into 6 oval patties.

2In skillet, brown patties in shortening.

3Pour off fat.

4Add remaining ingredients.

5Cover and cook over low heat for 20 minutes or until done.

6Stir occasionally.
