- 12 oz. box vanilla wafers, crushed
- 2 (10 oz.) sq. semi-sweet chocolate
- 2 c. powdered sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/3 c. margarine
- 1/2 gal. peppermint ice cream
Directions

1Melt 2/3 cup margarine and add to (all but 1/3 cup) vanilla wafer crumbs.

2Press on bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan.

3Melt 1/2 cup margarine and chocolate squares in microwave and set aside. Beat egg whites and set aside.

4Beat egg yolks, then add chocolate mixture, powdered sugar and vanilla.

5Beat in egg whites. Cook this mixture until it begins to boil. Boil 1 to 2 minutes. Spread this over crust and freeze for 10 to 20 minutes.

6Add softened ice cream and sprinkle with remaining 1/3 cup wafer crumbs and freeze.
