- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 12 teaspoon dry mustard
- 14 teaspoon ground red pepper
- 13 cup butter flavor shortening
- 12 cup finely chopped pepperoni
- 14 cup buttermilk
Directions

1Combine first 6 ingredients (flour through red pepper).

2Cut in shortening with pastry blender until mixture is crumbly.

3Stir in pepperoni.

4Add milk stirring until moist.

5Turn dough onto lightly floured surface and knead a few times.

6Roll out dough and cut with biscuit cutter.

7Place on lightly greased baking sheet.

8Bake at 425 for 13 to 15 minutes.
