- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 1 c. corn meal
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. milk
- 1/4 c. margarine, melted
Directions

1Sift together flour, sugar and baking powder.

2Stir in corn meal.

3Add eggs, milk and margarine.

4Beat until smooth, but do not overbeat.

5Pour batter into greased 9-inch pan or iron skillet.

6Bake at 425° for 20 to 25 minutes.
