  • 1 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 4 tsp. baking powder
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. yellow cornmeal
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/4 c. Wesson light oil

Directions

    Sift flour with sugar and baking powder. Stir in cornmeal. Add eggs, milk and oil. Beat just until mixed.

    Pour into greased 9 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Bake at 425° for 20 to 25 minutes.
