- 4 Tablespoons Brown Rice Syrup
- 1 Tablespoon Maple Syrup
- 1 Tablespoon Coconut Oil
- 1/4 cups Brown Sugar (unpacked)
- 2 Tablespoons Applesauce (unsweetened)
- 3 Tablespoons Peanut Butter
- 2- 1/2 cups Old Fashion Oats (Not Instant Oatmeal)
- 5 cups Rolled Oats (Or You Can Use Old Fashion)
- 1/2 cups Unsweetened Shredded Coconut
- 1 Tablespoon Ground Flax Seeds
- 1 Tablespoon Chia Seeds
- 1/4 cups Sunflower Seeds
- 1 Tablespoon Ground Cinnamon
- 1/4 cups Dried Cranberries
- 1/4 cups Dried Apricot, Diced Small
- 1/4 cups Dried Pineapple
Directions

1Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.

2In a medium sized saucepan over medium heat, add syrups, coconut oil, brown sugar, applesauce and peanut butter.

3Stir well.

4Bring to a boil and then simmer on low for 5 minutes, stirring frequently.

5Remove from heat.

6In a very large mixing bowl, mix together oats, coconut, seeds and cinnamon.

7Add the syrup mixture (while its still warm!)

8over the top of the oat mixture and stir well.

9It will be very thick and hard to stir, but keep at it until everything is thoroughly combined.

10Spread the mixture onto a pan lined with parchment paper or a non-stick mat and bake in the oven for 45 minutes.

11Remove the pan from the oven every 15 minutes and give the granola a good stir to ensure even baking.

12Once out of the oven, mix in your dried cranberries, dried apricot and dried pineapple.

13Allow to cool for 20-25 minutes on the pan before serving.

14The granola will get harder as it cools.

15NOTE: Almonds are awesome in the recipe, but you can use any kind of nut, seed and dried fruit you like!
