- 1/2 c. water
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3 egg whites
- 6 Tbsp. sugar
Directions

1Mix the cornstarch and 2 tablespoons sugar with the water. Cook together until clear; set aside.

2Add a bit of salt (1/4 teaspoon) to the egg whites; whip until foamy or standing in peaks.

3Add the sugar mixture; continue beating until creamy.

4Add the 6 tablespoons sugar gradually, beating until very creamy. Pile on pie.

5Bake for 30 minutes at 325°, or until golden brown.
