- 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. shortening
- 3 1/2 Tbsp. cold water
- 1/2 tsp. white vinegar
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
Directions

1Mix the flour and salt in a large bowl.

2Cut in shortening with fork or pastry blender until pea size crumbs are formed. Combine cold water, vinegar and egg in a small bowl.

3Add to flour mixture, stirring until mixture can be formed into a ball. Divide in half and roll out to 1/8-inch thickness on a lightly floured surface.

4Line bottom of 9-inch pie plate with 1/2 of dough.

5Use other half for the top crust.
