  • 3 c. sugar
  • 1 c. oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. soda, dissolved in 2/3 c. water
  • 1 tsp. vinegar
  • 2 c. persimmon pulp
  • 3 1/2 c. flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts and/or raisins

Directions

    Using large bowl, combine all ingredients, except nuts.

    Mix at high speed for 4 minutes.

    Pour into 3 greased loaf pans.

    Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
