- 1 c. mashed persimmon pulp
- 1 c. walnuts, coarsely chopped
- 1 c. raisins
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 egg
Directions

1Mix shortening and egg.

2Put all dry ingredients in sifter and sift into shortening and egg mixture.

3Add everything else.

4Drop by spoonfuls on cookie sheet.

5Bake until light brown.

6Bake at 350° for 5 to 10 minutes (approximately).
