  • 2 qt. persimmons
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. allspice
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/2 lb. butter, melted
  • 2 c. sour milk
  • 1 c. sweet milk
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. soda

Directions

    Mash persimmons through a colander.

    Add sour milk.

    Add other ingredients in order, blending well.

    Bake in a well buttered baking pan in a 350° oven for 45 minutes or until firm.
