  • 1/4 tsp. soda
  • 1 c. persimmon pulp
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 1/4 c. milk
  • 1/8 stick margarine, melted

Directions

    Mix together in a large bowl the first 7 ingredients to include soda, pulp, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, salt and beaten egg.

    Blend thoroughly and gradually add flour.

    Slowly add milk while stirring.

    Finally, add melted margarine and pour into a greased pan.

    Bake at 325° for 50 minutes.
