Peruvian Lamb Chops

- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 4 shoulder lamb chops (3/4-inch thick)
- 1/4 c. salad oil
- 1/4 c. chopped green onions
- 1/4 c. strong coffee
- 1/4 c. dairy sour cream
- 1/4 c. grated Swiss cheese
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°.

2Combine flour, salt, pepper and oregano; mix well.

3Pound flour mixture into lamb chops with the edge of a saucer.

4Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat.

5Add lamb chops and scallions and cook until chops are browned on both sides.

6Arrange chops and scallions in a greased shallow casserole.

7Combine coffee and sour cream; blend well.

8Pour over lamb chops; sprinkle with cheese.

9Bake in oven for 30 minutes, or until tender.
